SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT
Jennifer Burt, a speech language pathology assistant and MOST’s Clinic Coordinator, received her degree from Baylor University in communication sciences and disorders in 2013. After interning at It’s A Sensory World, she began working with MOST’s Founder, Cindy Ates, where she began extensive one on one training with Cindy as a speech therapy assistant. She specializes in treating children with a history of emotional, mental or physical abuse, feeding therapy and disorders, play-based skills, Interactive Metronome, and The Listening Program.
Jen was drawn to the field of speech pathology for its extensive possibilities and creative nature. She appreciates the daily challenge and the versatility that being a speech therapy assistant allows. Jen enjoys working with clients with language delays, specifically in the 1-3 year population, myofunctional therapy techniques, and individuals on the Autism spectrum. In addition to her role as a speech therapy assistant, she is a crucial part of our administrative team as Clinic Coordinator, using her great attention to detail to ensure that our clinics run smoothly.
With the outlook that each day as a new adventure, Jen understands that all individuals have ups and downs. She is the first to recognize when someone simply needs love, the strongest medicine.
