Katie Fernau, MOST’s Operations Manager, joined the team in 2016 with over seven years experience in operations, administration and management while working with small businesses and corporations, as well as being self-employed. With a bachelor's degree in writing and a background as an artist and graphic designer, Katie brings creativity and a personal artistic touch to everything at MOST, down to the design of our name and logo.
As a child, Katie learned the ins and outs of a small business while watching her own family run one. She has a knack for streamlining operations, while helping managers and supervisors work more effectively in their role, and aiding employees in finding the best working environment for their needs. Katie’s goal as an operations manager is to ensure her staff has the training and knowledge to be the best professionals they can be. She has extensive education in Interactive Metronome, The Listening Program, child psychology and self-care techniques.
Katie came on board with MOST because she knew she wanted to be a part of the spectacular community that we serve, and wanted to assist in providing life-changing services to improve our clients’ quality of life. She enjoys problem solving with a team, providing efficiency and cohesion in the process, while implementing policies and goals so that our staff can be the best therapists in the area. The versatility of the job is what she loves most.
