VOLUNTEER

MOST/DFW offers a Volunteer Program for students who enjoy children of all ages and abilities, playing games, getting active, doing crafts and making new friends while making a difference in their community! If you are looking for a rewarding experience that includes helping others and learning about health care career opportunities in speech, occupational or physical therapy, MOST/DFW is the place for you!

Peer Volunteers

Young Students enjoy the variety of opportunities to gain real-life work experience in multiple areas of the clinics, assisting therapy technicians and therapists across multiple principles. Participate in social therapy programs working with kids of all ages with unique potentials. Volunteers gain a positive, character-building experience that will open doors to future college and career pursuits while making a positive impact to the lives of children.

Saturday Social Groups

Volunteers work along side therapists and technicians in a group setting where kids of all ages come together for activities, games, and more! Participate as peer models in new activities each week such as obstacle courses, crafting and special events.

After School Opportunities

Students love volunteering during the week after school and during breaks from school. Our flexible schedule, allows volunteers to engage with therapy professionals and their peers in a one-on-one or small group setting.

College Student Volunteers should complete our Volunteer Application for consideration. Once your application is received, we will email to schedule your interview.  

Interviews are an important part of our selection process, so please arrive on time and dress appropriately. You will also need to bring your parental consent form, if applicable, to your interview. You will be asked to answer questions regarding past experiences, summer vacation, your schedule availability, transportation plans, school, and more. Most interviews are completed within 15-20 minutes.
